MATTTEO BECOMES UNIHA OFFICIAL SUPPLIER

After a thorough selection procedure UniHA has chosen MATTTEO as official supplier for RFID cabinets with real-time stock management at both item level and via the KANBAN principle. Our innovative solutions, including the RFID i-CAB, surprised in a positive manner and were able to convince UniHA's buyers.
UniHA is a purchasing cooperative representing more than 130 hospital groups and 900 healthcare institutions within France. UniHA's aim is to relieve hospitals of the administrative burden of tendering and to ensure that hospitals can purchase quality products at better conditions. Following the pandemic caused by the Corona COVID-19 virus, MATTTEO decided to expand its product range to include several hygiene products. By doing so, we hope to contribute to the fight against this virus. It is important that all people have access to quality at a fair price. By facilitating this, we are convinced that we will win this battle in the long run.

This year's edition of the ARAB HEALTH exhibition in Dubai was once again a big success for MATTTEO.
The many visitors at our booth showed a lot of interest for our MODU-FLEX trolleys and modular storage systems like the MODUL-iT shelving system. Nonetheless, our RFID solutions i-ROOM and i-LOC were the absolute eyecatchers. The big advantage of adding real-time stock management and/or localisation to a standard ISO modular system, stays undeniably a trump card. |

The new AZ Sint-Maarten hospital in Mechelen which opens on the 15th of October 2018, will be equipped by MATTTEO with our ISO modular storage and transport system.
The new hospital regroupes 3 older hospitals on one new site. Two of these hospitals are located in the city of Mechelen, the third one is situated in the city of Duffel. The latest technologies will be installed in this new hospital, in order to organise and improve the internal hospital logistics and supply chain. Some newly designed modular trolleys and modular racks are being installed and delivered at this very moment. |

MODUL-IT: new COMBINAtion RACKS
The first MODUL-iT combination racks were installed by MATTTEO in the Universitary Hospital of Strasbourg (FR). Now it is finally possible to combine shelves for big volumes together with modular sections for trays, baskets and instrument trays.
AZ ALMA AND MATTTEO: TOgether strong in care aND INNOVATION

On March 17th the new hospital AZ Alma in Eeklo opened its doors. This latest belgian hospital has approximately 500 beds and focuses on innovation in all areas.
Already from the start it was the intention of the hospital to make the stay of the patient as comfortable as possible. To ensure this, efficient care would be crucial. Both these starting points led to innovative conceptual choices and the decision made by the board to equip the hospital with the lastest technologies. Also quality and safety were two key points in the design of the floor plans and they both played an important role when it came to material choices and determening the right solutions. It makes us very proud that the hospital chose MATTTEO as one of its partners to realise this prestigious project. All modular cabinets were equipped with our high-quality MODUL-iT liners and modules made of injection moulded ABS. This means AZ Alma chose for flexibility, functionality and ergonomics. |
MATTTEO also contributed in the field of internal hospital transport. The hospital was provided with the latest generation of MODU-FLEX transport trolleys. The numerous possibilities inside our product range ensured the hospital of a customised solution. The trolleys we delivered are for example water-resistant and can be connected to electric tractors.
Last but not least, AZ Alma also decided to implement one of our stock management solutions. In a first phase, our i-ROOM technology was installed in the operating theatre, Intensive care and the emergency department. Thanks to the RFID Antennas and Tags, there is no need anymore to scan barcodes, which saves a lot of time for the hospital staff. The employees in the logistics department even have a remote overview from all the order lines in the equipped departments. The orders lines are read by our IRIS software and imported in the ERP system of the hospital.
All products delivered by MATTTEO contribute to an efficient organisation of the internal logistic flows, which gives the hospital employees more time to take care of their patients. This way, AZ ALMA can continue to realise their slogan “Care with a heart”.

modu-flex: new plaster trolley

Our MODU-FLEX ISO modular plaster trolley has been developed in cooperation with the manager of the emergency department of the Glorieux Hospital in Ronse (Belgium), mr. Vincent Van Vossel.
He didn't find on the market the trolley that he was looking for. The storage of the different sizes of plaster and the related accessories in their standard boxes, ready to be used, was very important for him. MATTTEO listened carefully to his ideas and wishes. The end result may be seen. We want to thank mr. Van Vossel for his input and his coöperation. |
mattteo: a heart for children

The Christmas period is a good time to reflect on all that is important in life. And what is more important than children and the people who care for these kids every day?
Both can be found at the Princess Maxima Center, a hospital in Utrecht (The Netherlands) that is specialised in pedriatic oncology. As a token of appreciation for the members of nursing staff, who are giving their best each day trying to cure these young cancer patients, MATTTEO gave away an extra MODU-FLEX cart, specially adapted to store beads for the children. MATTTEO wishes the staff the best of luck with the carts and the children a lot of fun with the beads.
